What is a bill of quantities?
A bill of quantities (BOQ) lists every measurable item of work in a project with its unit, quantity and rate. Contractors price it at tender, quantity surveyors use it to value interim payments, and planners use it to load cost into the programme.

Frequently asked questions
Is VAT applied to construction in the UAE?
Yes. Standard-rated construction services carry 5% VAT. Some residential first supplies can be zero-rated, so confirm treatment with your tax adviser.
Can I import this BOQ into Primavera P6?
Copy the table into Excel, then map the amounts to activities as budgeted cost. A direct P6 export is planned for a future version.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing your browser data removes the BOQ, so copy it to Excel when you finish.
